There is on-site lodging
at The Timbers for a maximum of 26 people. However, dotted throughout the island (and some nearby) there are many cottages, bed and breakfasts, inns and resorts available which offer a wide variety of services and prices. Your guests should be advised to book their accommodation well in advance as Pender Island is a popular vacation destination. The Drying Shed with its lofty wood-beamed ceiling and large windows is a beautiful venue for your reception. There is ample room to comfortably seat a maximum of 100 and space for a band or DJ, too. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with gas range, large refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher and sufficient cutlery, glassware and dinnerware. Please note that the person preparing the food must have the FOODSAFE certificate. Catering is available on Pender from the Creative Cuisine Catering. |
| There is a pass through from the kitchen which is suitable for use as a bar area. Glasses and all the other accoutrements you require to serve various types of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available in the adjacent pantry. Please note that should you wish to serve alcohol, it may be necessary for you to acquire a liquor license.
